Is AI Clothes Swapper Safe? What Happens to Your Uploaded Photos?

Short answer: Your photos are used only to create the outfit swap you ask for and to show you your own history. They're stored privately, other users can't browse them, and we don't use them to train AI models or sell them. You can delete individual files or your whole account at any time from Settings.
Who can see the photos I upload?
Only you. According to our privacy policy, uploads and results are stored privately in our storage (Cloudflare R2). They aren't public, and other users can't browse them. The homepage puts it simply: "Your photos are only visible to you and never used for training."
Are my photos used to train AI?
No. The privacy policy states: "We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell them." Your photos are used only to create the swap you requested and to show your history.
Which companies process my photos?
To run the service we share data only with the providers that are needed. The privacy policy names them:

Our Acceptable Use Policy adds that images are currently generated by ByteDance Seedream via Kie.ai.
About Kie.ai and deletion: the privacy policy says photos are sent to Kie.ai to generate the result, that Kie.ai processes them on our behalf, and that it "deletes its copies of generated files within 14 days." That's the exact scope of the statement: it refers to generated files. Our policy doesn't make a separate statement about how long Kie.ai keeps the input photos you upload.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long are my photos kept?
- Uploaded photos and results stay in your account until you delete them or delete your account.
- Guest accounts (used without Google sign-in) that are never linked to a Google account may be deleted, together with their photos, after 30 days of inactivity.
- Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
How do I delete my photos or my account?
- Single files: go to Settings → Files.
- Whole account: go to Settings → Security. Deleting your account removes your photos, results and credits.
- Data requests: depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Email yaohongan2021@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
What other data is collected?
According to the privacy policy:
- Account details: if you sign in with Google, your name, email address and profile picture from Google. Without sign-in, a temporary guest account with no name or email is created.
- Payment records: Stripe processes payments. We receive the amount, currency and a payment reference, and we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic usage events, used to keep the service running, prevent abuse and fix errors.
- Cookies: a small number of cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your theme (see the Cookie Policy).
What content is blocked?
Every outfit description and styling note is checked before generation, first by our own filter and then by an automated prompt safety scan. Our image model provider also runs its own safety checks. Blocked requests don't use a credit. The Acceptable Use Policy doesn't allow:
- nude, semi-nude, lingerie, "undressing" or sexually suggestive images of anyone,
- any photo of a person who is, or appears to be, under 18,
- edits of real people, including public figures, without their permission,
- harassment, impersonation, defamation, or passing edits off as real photos in harmful ways,
- violence and gore, hate speech, copyright/trademark infringement, or illegal content,
- scraping, reselling access, bypassing safety filters.
Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or closed without refund, and illegal content is reported to the authorities. The service is for adults only (18+).
How can I use it safely? Practical tips
- Upload photos of yourself, or of adults who have clearly agreed to have their photo edited.
- Never upload photos of children or anyone who might appear under 18.
- Avoid photos with sensitive details in the background, such as documents, addresses or other people's faces. Crop them out first. Only the person and their clothes are needed.
- Use images you have the right to use, for both your photo and the garment image.
- Don't pass results off as real photos in ways that could mislead or harm anyone. Results are AI-generated previews.
- Delete what you no longer need in Settings → Files.
- Sign in with Google if you want your history kept. Guest accounts that are never linked may be deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
What isn't covered here?
Our policy doesn't state a fixed automatic deletion period for photos kept in your account (they stay until you delete them), and it doesn't separately state how long Kie.ai keeps uploaded input photos, only that it deletes its copies of generated files within 14 days. Can other users see my photos?
