Try a new haircut without the risk
A bad haircut takes weeks to grow out. The hairstyle changer lets you try a cut on your own face first. It redraws only the hair, shaping it into the style you pick while it follows your head, hairline and the lighting of the original photo.
Everything else is kept: your eyes, expression, eyebrows, beard, glasses and clothes. Because it is your face and not a model in a salon catalog, you can judge how a cut really works with your features, and show the result to your barber or stylist.
What we found testing these hairstyles
We generated 20 test images on our sample portraits on October 29, 2026. Fifteen showed the change clearly. Five were too subtle: four were full-length photos with a small head in frame (quiff, stubble, long straight, soft perm), and one man already wore a side part.
Re-run on head-and-shoulders portraits, four of four were clear. Bold changes (pixie, bob, blunt bangs, wolf cut) showed even on full-length photos. For a subtle style, use a head-and-shoulders photo.
Which hairstyle suits me?
Stylists often start with face shape. As a general guide, longer faces tend to suit cuts with some width at the sides, such as curtains or a bob, while round faces often look good with height on top, like a quiff or a textured crop. Square jaws are softened by layers, and oval faces suit most styles. These are rules of thumb, not laws.
Hair type matters just as much. Fine, straight hair falls flat in some cuts, and thick or curly hair behaves differently from the preview. The honest answer to "which hairstyle suits my face shape" is to try a few. Run three or four styles on the same photo and compare them; the one you keep coming back to is usually right. Your real result will also depend on hair density, texture and growth pattern.
All AI hair tools
The hairstyle changer covers everyday cuts. For a specific look, each of these tools changes one thing and keeps your face:
Go shorter with the AI bald filter for a shaved head, the buzz cut filter for a buzz, crew cut or fade, or the short hair filter for a pixie cut, bob or long bob. Go longer with the long hair filter for waves, straight hair or layers.
Change texture or shape with the curly hair filter to preview a perm, the bangs filter for curtain, blunt or wispy bangs, and the wolf cut filter for a wolf cut, shag or mullet. Change color only with the hair color changer. Thinning hair? Add hair to photo fills the hairline or crown, and the beard filter adds or removes facial hair.
Tips for a realistic hairstyle preview
Use a clear photo of one person with the whole head in the frame and the top not cut off. A front or three-quarter view works best. Take off hats and headphones, since the tool keeps them. Pull hair away from the face if it covers your eyes.

AI hairstyle changer FAQ
Is the hairstyle changer free?
No. Every image uses 1 credit. One-time packs start at $4.99 for 20 images, with no subscription, and credits never expire. You can browse the example results on this page without paying.
How do I try hairstyles on my photo?
Upload a clear photo with your whole head visible, pick one of the seven hairstyles and wait about 40 seconds. Then compare with the slider and download.
Does it work for men and women?
Yes. Side part, quiff, textured crop and slicked back are classic men’s cuts, while curtains, bob and long layers work for anyone.
Will it change my hair color or face?
No. Only the cut and style change. Your natural hair color, face, eyebrows, facial hair, clothes and background stay the same.
How do I find a hairstyle for my face shape?
Use face shape as a starting point, then try three or four cuts on the same photo and compare. Seeing them on your own face is more useful than any chart.
How accurate is the result?
It is a realistic preview, not a guarantee. A real haircut also depends on your hair density, texture and growth pattern.
What photos are not allowed?
Photos with nudity, underwear, swimwear or sexual content are not accepted. A normal portrait or selfie is all you need.
Are my photos kept private?
Yes. Your photos are private and are not used for training. Only upload photos of people who have given their permission. If a generation fails, the credit is refunded automatically.
